havent been on in a while and just wanted to let everyone know im still doing really well! nothing went wrong this time. Had my op on 9/2/2010 and havent looked back. Ileostomy is there forever but life had been great since im back at work full time and going on holiday in aug! cant wait!.
I really hope everyone is doing as well as i am , i was determined that this year was not going to be the same as last! ![]() I went to a Salts Healthcare presentation at fairfield halls the other day to look at some new products they have coming out! got some samples.New products where a washer that is more mouldable and flexible made out of an absorbant material to stop fluid getting on the skin, another was a washer with a funnel attached that moulds round the stoma and acts like a suction so if any fluid goes down the funnel it moves it back into the bag! very clever i thought so we will see. catch you all soon xx
