Mayday Hospital

I have to be honest there are good and bad points to Mayday. Some wards were fab and the nurses would be so lovely and Dr. D's ward was really well run. But other wards were terrible the nurses treated me as a if I was a pain for wanting help and they didnt have a great knowledge of my condition was needless to say worrying:no:!But overall it was ok but very short staffed and some nurses came to work for a good catch up not to look after the patients. I was lucky because I was younger I could get about alot easier than others on my ward so eventually I could wash etc when I wanted but some were left for ages and just given a bowl of water and told to wash thenselves when they really couldnt. It was quite sad actually looking back. I think that if nurses are going to be grumpy then dont do that job because when you have had a op and are emotional yourself the last thing you need is someone making you feel worse.:nah:
